QuestHunt / Privacy

Your information, explained.

Last updated September 8, 2026. How we use information when you visit QuestHunt, connect Hunter or buy founding credit.

Who is responsible

ZeroCrew AI Ltd, company number 11929570, registered at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX, operates QuestHunt and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact support@yo.zerocrew.ai about this notice, your account or your information. This notice covers the QuestHunt website, Hunter connection and founding offer. Grok and other external services have their own privacy notices.

Your free account and Hunter connection

Connecting Hunter creates a free account without an email address or payment. We store an account identifier, creation and connection dates, access permissions, connection status, and browser-session and authorization records. Those records include the connecting app’s name, identifiers and return address, and hashes used to validate access tokens. When you register Hunter’s private routine, we also store its bot name, optional bot identifier, template version and installation identifier. We use these records to identify your account, grant the access you approve and protect that access.

Your brief and private updates

When you save a brief, we store your skills, optional minimum project budget and whether future gig updates are paused. Your connected Hunter can read your account status and saved brief and update your preferences within the permissions you approve. We store your private webhook URL and sender key encrypted, together with setup confirmation, delivery attempts and acknowledgment records. The webhook message contains event and installation identifiers, an event type and a receipt token; it does not contain your email, balance or account-access credential. Hunter then requests account status through its authenticated connection. Matching and daily gig delivery are not live during the founding phase.

Payments and email

If you choose to buy founding credit, Stripe collects your payment details in its hosted checkout. QuestHunt stores order and payment references, the amount and status, terms acceptance, the shared launch deadline, credit records, and refund or dispute information. We do not receive or store your full card number. An email returned by Stripe is attached to your paid account for receipts, payment and account notices, and access recovery. You can also provide your email when requesting recovery. It is not required for the initial free connection. We retain support messages you send so we can respond and resolve the issue.

Other website features

If you submit a waitlist or company enquiry form, we receive the fields you choose to submit, such as your email, name, skills, age bracket, country, payment preference, portfolio or company link, and task description. We use these to handle your signup or enquiry. Older activity-creation features can store a chosen city or location, activity ideas, a display name or aliases, interests, contributions and generated activity pages. Shared activity links can be viewed by anyone who has the link. Avoid including sensitive information or children’s full names in these fields.

Cookies and technical information

The founding flow uses a necessary browser-session cookie to remember your approved account connection and a checkout cookie to link a payment return to the browser that began it. These cookies are protected from access by page scripts and are sent over HTTPS on the live site. Blocking or clearing them can interrupt setup or require recovery. Older activity features also use browser storage and cookies to remember drafts and a display name. The founding flow uses a hashed network address for request limits; other website features and our hosting and service providers may process network addresses, request information and error logs to deliver and secure the service.

Why we use your information

We use account, connection and order information to provide the service you request and perform our agreement with you. We use necessary security and diagnostic records, and handle support enquiries, for our legitimate interests in operating a reliable service, preventing abuse and resolving problems. We use payment and related records where needed to meet accounting and other legal obligations. Where we ask for consent for an optional use, you can withdraw it by contacting us. Providing connection details is necessary to connect Hunter, and payment information is necessary to complete a purchase; you can browse without doing either.

Services that receive information

We use Vercel for website hosting, Convex for the database and backend, Stripe for payments, and Resend for transactional email. Your connected bot host receives the information you authorize Hunter to access and the private routine updates. Content you enter in Grok is also handled by that external service under its own terms. Older activity-generation features use OpenAI for generated text and images, and Vercel storage for generated images; activity prompts and place context are sent when those features run. Location and place lookups use external mapping and place-information services. Where an activity form displays Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare processes the security challenge and associated technical information. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or handle a payment dispute.

Where information is processed

Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Contact support@yo.zerocrew.ai for information about the locations and transfer arrangements that apply to your data.

How long records are kept

Retention depends on what a record is needed for: maintaining your account and connection, completing a payment or refund, resolving a support request or dispute, preventing abuse, or meeting legal recordkeeping obligations. Expiry of a session or revocation of a connection ends its access; it does not by itself erase the underlying records. You can request account deletion by contacting us. Some payment, refund, dispute or security records may need to be retained where a legal obligation or another applicable exception requires or permits this; we will explain any relevant exception when handling your request.

Your choices and rights

You can change your saved brief, pause future gig updates, disable the private update routine or revoke Hunter’s access. Pausing future gig updates does not stop essential payment, refund or access messages. To request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction or to object to processing, contact support@yo.zerocrew.ai. These rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law. We may ask for information needed to verify that the account is yours; do not send passwords, card details or webhook keys. Requests concerning your Grok account or chat history should also be directed to that provider.

Questions or complaints

Email support@yo.zerocrew.ai. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data protection authority where applicable. We will update this notice when our data handling changes.
