- Lake Nokomis Park sits in south Minneapolis as part of Nokomis-Hiawatha Regional Park. Lake Nokomis Main Beach is the start. The park lists a playground / tot lot, picnic area, walking path, and a beach — enough for a map, a home base, and a pretend X.
- The park is outdoor and generally free to enter. Hours, parking, and beach flags change. Check the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board before you go. Last checked August 2026.
